Open Call for Artists: "Absolutely Abstract"
​November 1st - December 31st 2024

Are you ready to challenge perceptions and push the boundaries of visual expression? We are excited to announce an open call for artists to submit work for our upcoming exhibition, "Absolutely Abstract."
Exhibition Theme:
"Absolutely Abstract" is an exploration of pure abstraction in art. We invite artists to submit works that emphasize non-representational forms, colors, and compositions. This is an opportunity to showcase your creativity and imagination, without the constraints of depicting the visible world.
Eligibility:
This call is open to artists of all backgrounds and experience levels. We welcome submissions from both emerging and established artists.
Mediums Accepted: Painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, mixed media, and other abstract forms.

ALL pieces must be for sale and  $100 or more.
The artists will get 70% of any sales and 30% will go to the Eilandarts Center Gallery.
FEE: $20 for 3 pieces.

Monday, October 21st, Deadline for entries
Wednesday,October 23th Acceptance notice
Saturday, October 26th, Drop off work- 10am-2:00pm (or by prior arrangement) 
Show: November 1st-December 31st
Opening Reception, Friday November 1st, 6-8pm
Saturday, January 4th Pick up work- 12-6pm (or by prior arrangement)

We are looking for work who gives you chills, have mysterious angles or take you to another world.

Eerie Expressions: Art from the Shadows
The Eilandarts Gallery is excited to announce their upcoming exhibition of "Eerie Expressions: Art from the Shadows", scheduled for the month of September-October. We are inviting artists of all media to participate.

Every piece of art submitted must have the artist’s name, the title of the piece, and the price clearly written on the back. They must be Gallery-Ready!
ALL pieces must be for sale and  $75 or more.
The artists will get 70% of any sales and 30% will go to the Eilandarts Center Gallery. 
 
Timeline:
Saturday, August 24th, Deadline for entries
Tuesday, August 27th, Acceptance notice
August 31st, Drop off work- 10am-2:00pm (or by prior arrangement) 
Show: September 3th - October 31st
Opening Reception, Friday October 11th 6-8pm
November 2nd, Pick up work- 12-6pm (or by prior arrangement) 
 
FEE IS $20 for up to 3 pieces
Submission Guidelines: Fee $20 for 3 pieces.
  1. Medium: All 2D and 3D visual art forms are welcome, including but not limited to paintings, drawings, sculptures, digital art, and mixed media.
  2. Size: Artwork should be suitable for exhibition in a gallery setting. Please provide dimensions when submitting.
  3. Pieces: Artists can submit up to 3 pieces.  
  4. Selection Process: Submissions will be reviewed by Eilandarts Center. Selected pieces will be featured in a special exhibition to mark the town's 150th birthday.                     
  5. The artists will get 70% of any sale / 30% will go to the Eilandarts Center Gallery. Every piece of art submitted must have the artist’s name, the title of the piece, and the price clearly written on the back.
  6. ALL pieces must be for sale and have to be priced $100 or more.
  7. Pieces have to be ready to hang – wire hanging only.

Dear Artists,
We are thrilled to announce a special call for art entries to commemorate the 150th birthday of Merchantville! As we celebrate this significant milestone in our town's history, we invite artists of all backgrounds and styles to contribute their creative expressions to capture the essence and spirit of Merchantville.

Timeline:
May 28th, Deadline for entries 
June 8th , Acceptance notice 
June 29th Drop off work- 12:00pm-3:00pm (or by prior arrangement) 
Show will be from July 1st-August 30st  
Opening reception will be announced.
Pick up work August 31st 12-3pm (or by prior arrangement)
