Sewing Monsters, Pillows and other not so "pinkish" items.
At Eilandarts Center we believe that sewing can be for everyone.
We encourage students to see a piece of cloth as more than just for sewing clothes and cushions, but as a true design medium. Students will use fine motor skills, thought, and a dollop of patience. Starting from the basics of hand sewing, to learning the amazing works of a sewing machine, and leading to the realization of a completed project. Through this process, children are rewarded by following an abstract idea through to a tangible piece. Ages 8-12 Tuesdays: 5:00pm-6:30pm October 23rd-November 6th Cost: $135 (6weeks) |
