Our week-long, themed art camps provide children with a range of classes and themes to fit any artistic interest. Students are encouraged to imagine and explore creatively, while making their own artistic masterpieces. Each week children will have the opportunity to learn a new craft.
We think camp should be an educational experience, but most importantly FUN!

Morning classes, 9:30am-noon Ages 5-12
JULY 8-12 Ceramics Expand your imagination while exploring the world of clay. Drawing with Pencil and Pastels Explore the rich, colorful world of pastels. Confident Cooking In this fun, camp, young chefs will practice essential kitchen skills and master the fundamentals of cooking. JULY 15-19 Abstract Painting Abstract Painting can be whatever you make of it—or, whatever you don’t make of it. Mixed Media Explore contemporary techniques and materials used to create 3-D and 2-D art. Guitar Club This class focuses on the various roles of the guitar in a group setting. AGES 8-12 AUGUST 12-16 Green Kids in a colorful world In this class we rethink our notion of waste, collecting cast-offs from our community to serve as creative art materials. Fabric and Thread We work on hand stitched projects, create a woven wall hanging piece and explore more fiber projects. Cooking around the world The best way to discover a new country is threw food. During this week we will learn how to create the cuisines of multiple countries. AUGUST 19th-23rd Make it BIG Make art in big format! We will look at artists like Georgia O’Keefe, Mark Rothko or Jackson Polluck to see how it looks and feels to paint in large formats. Science Meets Art We will discover, observe and have fun with lots of hands-on experiments. Breakfast for lunch! Turn your favorite breakfast dishes into the main event as lunch options. |
Afternoon classes, 12:30-3pm
Ages 5-12 JULY 8-12 Love to Sew! Learn to sew for the first time or keep working on your skills. Band Camp Let's create a band, learn a few songs inside and out,and give a recital in one week. AGES 8-12 Baking fun! From following a recipe to sharing the delicious results, the instructors show kids just how much fun baking can be. JULY 15-19 Combining & Creating: Exploring Printmaking It's all about THE PRINT! Go Chef - a cooking class Explore the wide range of culinary tastes. Explorations in Watercolor This class will explore the magic of watercolor. AUGUST 12-16 Music Workshop Would you like to create your own music tube channel or music for video games? Installation Art We will use/make objects to change the perception of space. Animals and Art Enjoy a week with an introduction to painting and drawing. Explore the art of observation! AUGUST 19-23 Nature and Garden projects Create your own insect hotel, form seed bombs and design a table top terrarium. Band Camp Let's create a band, learn a few songs inside and out,and give a recital in one week. AGES 8-12 Edible Science in the kitchen Discover the science of making food items such as lollipop, cheese, rock candy and yogurt. |
AFTERNOON CLASSES, 3:30-5:30PM
Ages 10-14 JULY 8-12 Acrylic Painting Painting is sumptuous, relaxing, and inspiring. Teen Pro Baking Do you dream of owning a bakery someday? Join us for five intense days of mixing, piping and decorating. JULY 15-19 Master the kitchen In this fun cooking camp young chefs will practice essential kitchen skills and bring home dinner and/or dessert for the week. Meet Female Artists of History Discover the colorful world of female artists in History. AUGUST 12-16 Painting & Mixed Media Young artists will develop their artistic skills while having fun discovering their own personal style. Mastering World Cuisines Learn to cook the differnt tastes of countries. AUGUST 19-23 Drawing with Pencil, Charcoal and Pastels Explore the rich, colorful world of pastels. Candy store in the kitchen Create hard candy, chewy caramels, pralines and roasted almonds. |
